Day 8 –Saturday 6th November 2010
Following your Culinary Barge Cruise, take the TGV high-speed train from Marseilles to Paris, where you’ll transfer by coach to the Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg.

As our base in Paris, we have opted for the centrally located Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg, close to the Latin Quarter in one of the liveliest areas of Paris.
Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg is a 3-star boutique hotel with 40 rooms. Services include a breakfast bar where a buffet is served each morning. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with bath tub or shower. Room amenities include TV, safe deposit box and WI-FI internet connection. The rooms are simple but pleasantly furnished. The hotel has been recently renovated, and has it's own brasserie restaurant, Le Luco.
The hotel is great jumping-off point for enjoying the best that Paris has to offer using your unlimited travel pass on the Paris Metro (included).
After getting settled and freshening up at the hotel, walk to the charming Restaurant Marty, which serves some of Paris’ best brasserie food. Enjoy dinner with your traveling companions amid the art deco furnishings.
Days 9 & 10, Sunday/Monday 7th & 8th November 2010
Following breakfast each morning, use your Metro Pass to explore Paris on your own, or with friends from the Cruise. The Metro is a great way to get around, and we’ll help you learn the ropes.
We also highly recommend taking a culinary walking tour. These are small group (5 to 6 people) walks with a local chef or food writer that will allow you to delve into the fascinating and delectable world of Parisian culinary traditions in the company of a true food expert. We’ve arranged for a discount for Chez Cherie travellers.
Day 11, Tuesday 9th November, 2010
Following breakfast at the hotel, check out and the tour extension ends. We will assist you in arranging transfer to the airport, or extend your trip further on your own!
