 The new Class Schedule for April through July is online now! We're very excited about this schedule. We've added more Trader Joe's classes, of course, but also several hands-on classes; a South Pasadena Culinary Field Trip; a Summer Cooking Camp for Kids; and Saveur French, Italian, and American classes.  Events fill up very quickly, so sign up soon!

On May 6th we present Asian Flavors.   Pacific Rim flavors are bright and fresh, full of herbs and citrus and soy. This class will explore the techniques that make this food so flavorful and fabulous.

Then on May 8th join Cherie as she explores some of her favorite culinary haunts on our  South Pasadena Culinary Field Trip! We'll start at Mission Wines for a wine tasting with owner Chris Meeske, formerly the sommelier at Patina restaurant. Then we will take a short walk to the fabulous Nicole's Gourmet Foods to taste some to-die-for cheeses and shop for many of the gourmet goodies that Cherie uses in class. Then we're off for a whirlwind spin through the South Pasadena Farmer's Market (ask Cherie for tips on preparing anything that catches your eye). And we'll finish the evening with a light meal of delicious tapas and sangria at Firefly Bistro.  Wine tasting, cheese tasting, tapas and sangria are included.

And on May 13th join us for Weeknight Meals.   Doesn’t everyone need a little help getting dinner on the table, night after night? I cook for a living, and I know I can always use some tasty and time-saving tips! Our strategy for these classes is to make them versatile, flavorful and simple---we want dinner on the table in the time it takes you to order, pick up and unpack the take-out meal you’d be serving otherwise.
